We will thread together a more practical understanding of these concepts to facilitate the healing process from the ayurvedic point of view.

This unit begins where our AYS training left off in the process of nutrition, digestion and assimilation. We’ll begin with new ideas about agni.
In this session we weave together and apply concepts about tissue, digestion and imbalances using case studies. Our work will introduce us to basic healing herbs and the use of rasayana to support right action of the body’s own healing wisdom. We will continue to build on our knowledge of anatomy and physiology from both the western and eastern perspectives to recognize dosha imbalances and identify digestion issues.
This course expands our relationship with Sanskrit—the language of ayurveda and yoga; and with asana—the language of the body.
