Acro Tutorial: Advanced Forward Flying With Taffy Twist

In this advanced eight-minute tutorial on the forward-flying AcroYoga pose "taffy twist," Chris and Brian demonstrate variations, explain the roles of both flyer and base (reviewing key movements in forward-flying poses), and instruct the most effective way to spot. Help your flyer relax with pulsing movements in the hips before encouraging a full body twist that originates from the upper back and shoulders.

Brian Davis began practicing yoga as a form of physical therapy and rehabilitation after a serious injury in 2002. Brian became a yoga teacher in 2011 and an AcroYoga teacher in 2014.
