Asana Alignment: A Practice Exploring Flexion and Extension
This 20-minute class is designed to focus on spinal flexion and extension. Enjoy a series of poses such as utkatasana (chair pose), utthita hasta padangustasana (extended hand-to-big-toe pose), and baddha konasana (bound angle pose) that illustrate how different parts of our body impact the overall mobility of the spine. You may find that balancing opposite actions within a practice not only feels good physically, but also encourages your mind to settle firmly in the present moment!
