Folded Leaf Series: Intermediate Variations

July 21, 2016    BY Chris Loebsack & Brian Davis

Chris and Brian demonstrate intermediate variations, supports, and tips for spotters in the AcroYoga pose "folded leaf." Begin by observing the silent demo, then follow along as Chris and Brian explain the alignment and key actions for both flyer and base. Encourage deeper relaxation in your partner with pulsing movements, swaying, and massaging of the shoulder blades. Build up to "super yogi," a variation for lengthening the sides of the waist up through the arms, bringing openness to the upper shoulders and back.

No props needed.
