Rise and Shine Yoga

This class is designed to wake up the sleepy, dull aspects of our body, mind, and heart. It's particularly great in the morning but can be done anytime. We'll use asana to awaken the body, and breath awareness to rekindle the light within. We'll also cultivate an inner focus during this energizing practice. This inner focus will provide us with a stable foundation from which to rise and help us walk into the world and let our inner light shine. Do yourself a favor and start your day with this uplifting practice!

Teaching yoga for more than 38 years, Shari Friedrichsen, a key facilitator of the Himalayan Institute teacher certification program and a member of the 500-hour teacher training faculty at 8 Limbs Yoga in Seattle, Washington, teaches classes, seminars and trainings worldwide.
