Yoga for Emergency Responders
Emergency responders—firefighters, police officers, EMTs, emergency room doctors and nurses—this practice is for you. Emergencies can literally take our breath away and this tends to disperse our energies and interfere with our gut wisdom. Join Shari in this revitalizing practice that focuses on diaphragmatic breathing and abdominal squeezes to reawaken the vital gut intelligence essential to capably performing in emergency situations day after day. Then move into an asana series, incorporating triangle, balancing half-moon, revolved triangle, chair pose, and crocodile to help release pent-up tension.
