Yoga for Meditation

Prepare the body, breath, and mind for meditation. This sequence creates awareness of the body through movement and breath, and concludes with a 10-minute systematic relaxation. Rolf Sovik's expert refinements make this a wonderful practice for the experienced practitioner as well as the beginning yoga student. Props: cushion, chair, or blanket for meditation (optional).

President and Spiritual Director of the Himalayan Institute and a clinical psychologist in private practice, Rolf Sovik has studied yoga in the United States, India, and Nepal. He holds degrees in philosophy, music, Eastern studies, and clinical psychology.
