Are the stability of your poses dependent on whether or not you're on a yoga mat? In this slip-and-slide class, you'll practice a mix of familiar and unfamiliar shapes on the more variable surface of a blanket.
This is an opportunity to get playful with the space around you. Expanding your range of movement will also require different muscular activation, strength, and coordination than you may be used to.
If you don't have a slippery surface, you can glide on carpet by using a paper plate instead of a blanket.
