In this Yoga Tune Up® class for runners, you'll build strength and create healthy articulation from your feet all the way to your lower back.
This sequence can help prevent shin splints and plantar fasciitis, and make you a better breather. It includes “rollout sessions” where you'll explore myofascial release (MFR) practices for your feet, psoas, obliques, quadratus lumborum, and more. It also includes intermittent check-ins where you'll evaluate the effectiveness of the MFR work you've done.
Do this practice on a recovery day, or as a warm-up before your run.
The intention for this class is: “I’m a student of my body.”
The balls you'll need: 1 Yoga Tune Up® Coregeous Ball and 1 Yoga Tune Up® therapy ball (or Yoga Tune Up® Plus Ball)
