Healing Addiction: A Yogic Perspective applies the lens of yoga to the pervasive issue of addiction. It was born from Nikki Myers' personal experiences of addiction, relapse, and sustained recovery, and is designed to support the recovery of anyone living with any type of addiction—including both substance and behavioral-based addictions—with relevant and practical tools from yoga.
All of Nikki’s life experiences have served as catalysts for the work she does today. She shares her story of addiction, relapse, and sustained recovery, and she created the Yoga of 12 Step Recovery program as a platform for educating yoga teachers on how to provide students with an integrated experience of recovery using tools from both yoga and the 12 Steps.

Yoga Alliance requires all yoga teachers to accumulate at least 30 hours of continuing education every three years. 20 online hours are allowed to count toward this requirement.
Fulfilling 5 of these study hours is as easy as logging into the Yoga Alliance website and entering your hours after you’ve completed Healing Addiction. Continue your yoga education with this course and more from the Yoga International library!
