This course puts the philosophy of the alchemical elements (earth, metal, water, wood, and fire) into action through animal-influenced postures. Set your regular practice aside today and let loose! This is an opportunity to embrace the playful side of yoga and bring a new layer of inspiration and joy to your practice!
Increase your flexibility and build strength as you explore yin and yang in Paulie Zink’s dynamic yoga practice. You'll be invited to flow through unique poses that embody the qualities of many animals including snakes, frogs, toads, beetles, seals, horses, dragons, and more! You'll unblock tension, find freedom in your body, and uncover a new level of expression, creativity, and connection with the 5 elements.
“Having the opportunity to practice with Paulie Zink was pure exploration and fun. Paulie dispels our current ideas of what Yin Yoga and even yoga itself is about. The freedom of playfulness in the classroom left us feeling awake, clear, and all of the hard edges of form and rigidity melted.”
RYT 500 yoga therapist and teacher.
“I've been teaching Yin Yoga for over 6 years but when I took Paulie's course, it opened my eyes to new ways to teach and practice Yin. I immediately incorporated some of the Yin/Yang 'alchemizing' movements he taught us and my students loved it!”
Forrest Hatha Yoga 200-Hour and Yin Yoga teacher.
Yin Yoga Founder Paulie Zink is a multifaceted instructor of rare quality. He is a Chi Kung expert and an internationally acclaimed martial arts grand champion. The combination of his exceptional background, knowledge, and skill makes him unique among yoga teachers in the Western world.
In order to achieve this degree of mastery, he underwent demanding training and esoteric disciplines which emphasized cultivating the felt awareness and embodiment of one’s intuitive, instinctual, and mystical natures. As a result, he can actualize the power and spontaneity, the flowing movement and wild spirit that are inherent in our awakened primal energy.
