Course Overview

When taking care of ourselves, most of us focus on our physical bodies and organs. In doing so, we are neglecting our energetic system. Everything and everybody has energy. This energy is in the form of solid and/or non-solid matter, such as light, electrical, sound, gravitational, stored energy, and kinetic (energy of motion).

Chakras are roadmaps and managers of your energetic system much like the organs are for your physical system. What is the health of your energetic system and how is this impacting your life?

This four-part course will provide an introduction to the 7 main chakras in a condensed overview. Being aware of your chakra system will help you identify imbalances in your life. Being aware of your chakra system will help you identify imbalances in your life. You will be able to release stagnant energy, align with your truth, heal your mind and body to make room for your full potential.

What you will learn in this course:

  • What the Chakra system is and how it affects the health of the mind and body.

  • Identify characteristics of blockages and/or overactivity in the chakra system.

  • Introduction to each of the 7 major chakras, where they are situated, and how they affect the energetic body.

  • Learn and practice asanas, meditation, and affirmations for imbalances.

  • At the end of the course, two full-length classes, one Yin and one Hatha will be presented to balance all of the chakras in a one-hour practice.
