Classic Yoga philosophy outlined in the Yoga Sutras in confluence with a design for living asserted in 12 Step programs is a powerful elixir to combat fear, anxiety, and stress; the derivatives of many addictive and compulsive behaviors.

Christian's experience of almost 20 years of recovery and Yoga illuminates the importance of understanding the mind, healing the body, and developing a relationship with some overarching Higher Energy. This program begins with a brief yet powerful intention setting, even-paced vinyasa practice followed by grounding restorative asanas, and finally the inward journey of pranayama and meditation.

This 2-hour course will investigate:

  • Where and why we hold the tension that drives

  • Compulsive and addictive behaviors, and the correlating poses that can be practiced daily to maintain our sanity.
