Annie Adamson is co-owner of Yoga Union Community Wellness Center in Portland, Oregon. She brings 12 years of experience practicing and teaching yoga to her devoted community. She is an accredited Anusara Instructor, a diligent student of Tantric philosophy, and holds certification in Power Vinyasa Levels 1, 2, and 3, and Hatha yoga. In 2006 Annie met her beloved teacher Sianna Sherman, and instantly connected to her poetically inspiring, heart-centered teaching. Annie has since attended numerous Immersions, Teacher Trainings 1, 2, and 3, and countless classes, workshops, and therapeutics sessions with Sianna. Annie also gives a deep bow of gratitude for enriching her studies to John Friend, Christopher Tomkins, and Hareesh Wallace. Annie has helped hundred of clients find greater freedom in their bodies and specializes in one-on-one Yoga Therapeutics for injury rehabilitation. She also finds great joy in training students to become teachers and has run successful Teacher Trainings with her sister, Natalie Gildersleeve, for the past 6 years. Annie’s classes are intuitive and precise, with an emphasis on alignment; they bring attention to the heart, provide clarity of mind, and ultimately offer empowerment to her students by asking that they bring intention to align with the flow of Grace both on and off the mat. Annie is deeply inspired being in nature and being a momma. Outside of the studio, you’ll often find her snowboarding, spending time at the beach, sewing, cooking, and being a devoted partner to Todd, and loving mother to Tabor and Audrie.
