After living in Buffalo, Emily Smith moved south looking for year-long sunshine and warm breezes. She didn’t find that, but she did find the Himalayan Institute, where she has devoted her time to studying and practicing the teachings of yoga and ayurveda. Emily completed her 200-hour and 500-hour teacher certification as well as becoming an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist. She shares her passion for the simple, immediate, and transformative powers of yoga and encourages students to wake up and become active participants in their practice and life!
