Practice with Kyla
Kyla Pearce has practiced yoga for over a decade and has studied ashtanga, vinyasa, and vipassana meditation in the United States and India. As the Director of Program Design and Evaluation for the LoveYourBrain Foundation’s Yoga Program, she has led the development of a gentle yoga curriculum for the traumatic brain injury community, which is now being implemented across the country. She teaches vinyasa, yin, and gentle yoga classes, and workshops for yoga teachers and clinicians interested in adapting yoga, pranayama, and meditation for traumatic brain injury. Her teaching style supports a self-inquiry process for students to feel creative and capable in their bodies and calm and focused in their minds.
Kyla is also pursuing a doctorate from Dartmouth College with research interests in the application of yoga and meditation for rehabilitation. She oversees the LoveYourBrain Foundation’s research evaluating the impact of the Yoga Program.
