About Erica

Erica Woodland, LCSW is a black queer/genderqueer trainer, movement leader and healing practitioner born and raised in Baltimore, MD. For the past 15 years, s/he has worked at the intersections of movements for racial, gender, economic, trans and queer justice from Baltimore to Oakland, CA where she currently resides. Erica is the Founder of the National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color Network, a new project focused on advancing healing justice for queer and trans people of color (QTPoC) by increasing access to mental health resources for “for QTPoC by QTPoC”. Erica is a Public Voices Fellow of the OpEd Project.
