Jen Stout (RYT 500 and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist) is a professional yoga teacher and therapist trained in the disciplines of hatha yoga, tantra and ayurveda within the Himalayan tradition. She was inspired to pursue yoga in 2006 when she began practicing through the Para Yoga tradition. Her passion for inner fulfilment through yoga lead her to the source of these teachings, the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy. In 2011, Jen became a resident of the Himalayan Institute so she could continue to deepen her practice as a student, and develop her skills as a teacher. During her three year stay, she taught Hatha yoga classes, practicums on breath awareness and pranayama, served as a yoga therapist and taught and assisted in teacher training programs.
Jen offers complete practices for body, mind and spirit that will accompany you off the mat and grace you throughout your day. Teaching from personal experience and a passion to share, Jen enjoys creating a fun, interesting guided experience that will ultimately lead you to a healthier and more productive life.
Jen has had the honor of studying with Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, Rod Stryker, Rolf Solvic, Sandra Anderson, Shari Friedrichsen, Kathryn Templeton, Karina Ayn Mirsky, Dr. Rosy Mann, Tracee Stanley, Gary Kraftsow and Ray Long.
