Lara Falberg has been teaching yoga since 2006. Trained in Atlanta, Georgia, she now lives in Columbus, Ohio and is a grateful instructor with the yoga teacher training program at Yoga on High. She teaches creative flow Vinyasa and is especially interested in offering classes that are accessible to everyone. She encourages each practitioner to move at their own pace and choose to either practice or ignore any posture that's suggested. She's highly vocal about the importance of ahimsa being the prioritized guiding principle of the asana practice.
Lara founded the yoga teacher resource website, i work barefoot, in 2015. The site offers effective verbal cues, mini-sequences, class themes, and a heartfelt blog about yoga and all that it offers to our lives. Lara is also a novelist. In November of 2016, she published Yoga Train, a novel about a group of loveable yet struggling individuals going through a 200-hour yoga teacher training program together. Inspired by the shifting nature of our beliefs, goals, and practices, she embraces the only constant in life as her North Star - change.
