The Hatha Yoga Pradipika tells us that the goal of yoga practice is to awaken kundalini shakti in our higher energy centers. Once accomplished, our full potential to be happy increases, and we become more aware of our life’s true purpose—we become a brighter light to others, and we become a more positive and powerful force for good in the world.
