How to Teach Breathing to Preschoolers
It’s a joy to work with preschoolers, but the trick is to keep them focused and engaged. Remembering the three different styles of learning—visual, tactile, and auditory—is key to developing a sequence that is more accessible and will inspire enthusiastic learning. When teaching breathwork to children, using song and childhood imagery—such as balloons to show the process of diaphragmatic breathing—helps them to embody the knowledge in a really fun and creative way!
