How Yoga Complements Twelve-Step Programs

Do you struggle with an addiction, or do you love or work with people who do? The 12 steps can certainly set the foundation for recovery, but increasing numbers of people have also found promise in combining yoga with the traditional 12-step program. Uniting the 12 steps with proper diet, meditation, and simple asana has been found to help those struggling with addiction by offering a greater capacity to deal with the stress of being alive in this day and age, as well as the possibility of a lower relapse rate. And for those who struggle with dependence, that can turn confusion and fear into a brighter view of tomorrow!
