In this video excerpt from Rod Stryker’s The Four Desires ecourse (Chapter 3, Module 1), Rod explains that your life and happiness are not dependent just on spiritual (moksha) or purposeful (dharma) pursuits. The four desires emphasize the middle path. The vedas recognize all four desires as worthy and important pursuits for every human being. Therefore, if you find fulfillment at one level of the four desires— dharma (purposeful), artha (material), kama (pleasurable), or moksha (spiritual)—it has an impact on all the other desires and your entire life.
