LEARN HOW TO USE THE HEALING WISDOM OF YOGA, AYURVEDA, AND PSYCHOLOGY TO CREATE UNIQUE AND PERSONALIZED WELLNESS PLANS

To sustain healthy functioning we need resilience, adaptability, and interpersonal support. Everyone has challenges in life and sometimes we need support managing those challenges. Often, the tools of yoga therapy, ayurvedic medicine, and traditional clinical psychotherapy are called upon to bring us back into balance.

Kathryn Templeton developed the 3 Wisdom Traditions (3WT) Wellness Coach Certification program as a way to help caregivers of all kinds create a balanced lifestyle that reduces burnout and the potential for secondary traumatization. This program also gives teachers tools they can use to work with students one on one, providing a supportive system that can complement therapy and other forms of healing work.

The 3WT Wellness Certification consists of three trainings: Learning Lab, Core Concepts, and Mentor Sessions.

Special Offer: These three courses are valued at $1025 USD if purchased individually. Save over 20% (a value of $225 USD) when you purchase them together!

WHY BECOME A 3WT WELLNESS COACH?

3WT is uniquely designed for yoga teachers, yoga therapists, and ayurvedic yoga specialists who are looking to enhance their individual counseling skills with practices from psychology. 3WT offers an opportunity to integrate practices from all three wisdoms for both specific stress response support and general wellness practices. This hammock of support is key to making the necessary changes in thinking and action that offer us and our clients greater wellness and mental health despite the stressors in life.

The 3WT training can also support social workers, psychotherapists, nurses, and allied health professionals who are looking to supplement their work with clinical applications of yogic and ayurvedic practices. When offering your clients support between sessions, you will enhance your treatment plan goals and be equipped to offer overall health and wellness plans that help clients make necessary adaptations and shifts in their lifestyle and daily habits.

The 3WT training is designed to support healthy physical, energetic, emotional, and mental functioning, and recovery from maladaptive thinking or behavioral patterns. 3WT is a “wraparound,” or at-home treatment plan, that will help you and your clients learn to develop self-regulation, resilience, adaptability, and interpersonal support.

3 WISDOM TRADITIONS: LEARNING LAB

This course is your first step to becoming a certified 3 Wisdom Traditions Wellness Coach. Kathryn explains why creating a self-care program is essential to your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health and offers a thorough treatment plan you can work on at home. We focus on three general areas: sleep management, digestion, and managing stress/trauma responses and their accompanying symptoms from low to high-grade anxiety and depression.

In the 3 Wisdom Traditions: Learning Lab, you’ll:

  • Explore combining techniques of each wisdom tradition into a supportive blueprint for your own self-evolution, and practice with clinical adaptations of the 3WT system.

  • Examine how at-home support plans, including yoga practices, ayurvedic lifestyle changes, and psychological approaches to positive thinking, can help cultivate healthy attachment and self-regulation when responding to stress.

  • Support the integration of techniques with detailed use of the 3WT clinical system, including grids to support the development of an individual treatment plan and clinical assessment tools for identifying specific stress responses.

  • Learn how to use specific tools from yoga therapy and ayurveda to enhance ojas, prana, tejas and bring balance to agni.

  • Learn how to build a therapeutic alliance with clients/students, develop clinical boundaries, and work to identify the neural pathways that create the patterns that keep us in states of imbalance.

CORE CONCEPTS

This training is for anyone who works in the fields of mental health, ayurveda, or yoga, and for anyone who simply wants to explore the therapeutic applications of these three powerful healing disciplines. With a better understanding of all three fields, you can create comprehensive treatment plans to more fully support yourself and/or others.

During this training you’ll:

  • Explore how yoga is a bridge to ayurveda and learn about the concept of agni (internal heat or fire) and how it affects you physically, mentally, and emotionally.

  • See how ayurveda can work conceptually and pragmatically with psychological tools offered in the areas of self-regulation, adaptability, and resiliency.

  • Explore the roots of Western and Eastern psychology and how they relate to each other and the modern world.

  • Learn more about how we experience trauma, and why people respond differently to the same traumatic event.

  • Gain an understanding of psychological, yogic, and ayurvedic terms to help you better get to know each discipline and how they relate to each other.
