45-Minute Ashtanga Primary Series

Want to refine your Ashtanga practice? This class is designed for beginners or for Ashtangis who want to improve their practice. You will warm up with surya A and B before moving into the standing sequence and the seated sequence through janu sirsasana (a head-to-knees pose). Next, you will practice urdhva dhanurasana (wheel) or bridge pose, lotus (or easy pose), uplutihi (lifting pose) and savasana.

Throughout the practice, you will receive many alignment cues so that you can get the most out of each posture and adapt the practice to your needs. Enjoy!
