A Practice for Fibromyalgia

Class Description

In this gentle sequence for fibromyalgia, you’ll explore easy movement and extended periods of deep stillness. Class begins with tension-relieving neck and shoulder stretches and a short leg warm-up from constructive rest pose. After that, you’ll move on to a variation of surfer pose (a prop-supported version of crocodile) that releases the sides of the body and a cozy bolster-supported bound angle.

Seek comfort, letting your body softly release with each breath, and only use 50 percent of your effort.
