You’ll begin with a standing warm-up for the feet and legs that will help loosen up the lower half of your body, including your lower back. After that, you’ll move into a standing sequence that includes pelvic rocks in warrior II, an exploration of eagle pose, dynamic movement in warrior I, a supported prasarita padottanasana (wide-legged forward fold), and much more.
In the latter part of class, you’ll explore the heel to tailbone connection in a side plank variation and do pelvic floor work, bridge, gentle core work in reclined pigeon, and more.
