Class Description

Ever feel physically or mentally stiff when you get out of bed in the morning?

In this class, you’ll explore “slide-and-glide” movements that will help you wake up your joints and create awareness and sensation in your spine, which can help you breathe and think more clearly.

You’ll begin on your back where you’ll combine gentle shoulder massage with slow, mindful arm movement. After that, you’ll move onto your side for more slide-and-glide shoulder work, do a standing practice that focuses on creating space in your rib cage in warrior I and II, move through chair-pose-inspired half sun salutes, and much more.

Conclude with a guided savasana and brief meditation that are all about experiencing and enjoying the space you’ve made throughout this expansive practice.
