An Empowering Flow to Build a Strong Back

Develop a “proud posture” and an open heart in this class that focuses on back strengthening. You’ll begin with a short warm-up before moving into sun salutes. After that, you’ll do a side plank/gate pose sequence to stretch and strengthen your upper back. Once warm, you’ll move into a flow that features pincha mayurasana (forearm balance) prep and chest-opening lunges, before concluding with camel variations, reclined twists, and savasana. Enjoy this opportunity to lift your heart and invoke joy.
