Breath Moves: 3-Dimensional Opening for the Breath in Vinyasa

This short series of standing poses uses tai-chi-inspired arm movements to help open the chest and liberate the diaphragm for better breathing. You’ll begin standing in mountain pose for explorative shoulder movements. You’ll continue to build upon these movements from there in other standing poses, including warrior II, warrior I, mountain pose, triangle, and more.

Finally, you’ll conclude standing and briefly reflecting on the space you’ve made in the front and back of your shoulders.

See if you stand taller and breathe easier throughout your day.
