Cultivate a Sense of Ease

Cultivate a sense of ease in this restorative sequence. You’ll begin with gentle movement on hands and knees to release tension so you’ll be able to let go more easily in the propped poses that follow. After that, you’ll do a block-supported supine chest-opener followed by a bolster- and blanket-supported chest-opener to deepen your feeling of relaxation. A long prop-supported legs up the wall and supported twists are next before the practice concludes with a guided savasana. Along the way, you are encouraged to lengthen your exhalations and to take comfort in the experience of your breath.

Props: 2 bolsters, 2 blocks, strap, blanket, wall
