Dharma: The Truth of Who You Are

Direct your attention to the connection between solid alignment and dharma in asana in this grounding hip- and heart-opening sequence. Class begins with a short talk about what dharma means and how we can connect to the “blessings of dharma” by creating a firm foundation in our lives. After that, Todd invites you to chant the shanti mantra (prayer for peace) with him. You’ll then move on to bird dog variations, pigeon variations, gomukhasana, eagle dogs, bow pose, seated twists, and more, before concluding in a guided savasana. In Todd’s words, allow yourself to “lift your heart with courage” throughout this class.
