Exploring Hip Angles: Mermaid Switches, Crab Rotations, Pinwheels, and Windmills

Illuminate new areas of your body with this hip-centric practice.

In this class that draws from Pilates and Feldenkrais, you’ll begin with supine blanket slides for your core and hamstrings to prepare for the hip work you’ll do later. After that, you’ll move into seated hip-strengthening movements, dynamic “pigeon walks” to garudasana (eagle pose) transitions, a supine sliding triangle pose at the wall, and more.

Trina suggests having a five-foot long TheraBand or other resistance band ready for this class.
