Finding Balance (On Your Hands!)

This strength-building flow opens with a thorough warm-up and progresses into hand balancing at a moderate pace. You’ll begin with a down dog to table pose to child’s pose flow, lunges, sun salutes, locust variations, and more. After that, you’ll do tree pose, crow pose, and side plank sequences before moving into eka pada koundinyasana (flying splits), a surya yantrasana (compass pose) variation, and astavakrasana (eight angle pose).

At the end of class, you’ll ground your experience with baddha konasana (bound angle pose), a flowing bridge sequence, savasana, and sitkari (cooling breath).

Props: none
