Follow Your Fingers and Toes: Moving From the Outside In

Follow your fingers and toes and flow from the outside in. In this class—which blends fluid, dance-like expression with traditional yoga flows—you’ll gain a felt experience of how distal movement (movement that originates farthest from the centerline of the body) can lead to greater muscular activation and stability than proximal movement (movement that originates from the centerline of the body).

You’ll alternate between distal and proximal movement so that you can sense the difference between them, but you’ll mostly focus on distal exploration.

Enjoy this dynamic and informative experience!
