Handstand Prep Practice

A fun handstand practice that’s all about building upper body strength. Warm up with cat-cow variations and a push-up/puppy pose flow before moving to the wall for leg lifts from down dog and an “L at the wall prep.” After that, you’ll learn how to kick up into handstand at the wall, and once you’re up, how to use a ball (and then a block) between your thighs to help you find the strength needed to stay up!

Props: wall, block, ball, a friend to help you with the props if you have one nearby!
