Iyengar Yoga and the Practice of Standing Poses (Class 2)

Focus on finding precision of alignment and developing deeper concentration in the following standing poses: utthita trikonasana (extended triangle pose), virabhadrasana II (warrior II), utthita parsvakonasana (extended side angle pose), and ardha chandrasana (half moon pose). You'll also explore supta tadasana (reclined mountain pose), and chatush padasana (four-footed pose). You'll do much of this work at the wall and conclude the experience in savasana (corpse pose).
