Langhana: Yoga Practice for Calming Energetic Effect

This yoga practice is great to do in the evening, before bed, to relieve stress, prepare for meditation, when you’re feeling restless, and/or to pacify vata dosha. The culmination of this practice is a calming energetic effect (langhana), helping the mind and body to experience a deeper stillness. Includes chanting, forward bends, long-holding postures, and lengthening the exhalation, and concludes with a deep relaxation and nadi shodhanam (alternate nostril breathing).
