While sun salutations are heat-building and linear, moon salutations are cooling and circular in nature, which can be more accommodating during pregnancy.

This lunar flow will help you cultivate strength, stability, and openness through your hips and legs. It’s generally appropriate for people in their second or early third trimester of pregnancy, though everyone is different. Be sure to gauge how you feel throughout this sequence, only doing what’s most beneficial for you and your practice.
