If you’re into splits, here’s a fun pose for you—trivikramasana (standing splits). You’ll prepare for this advanced pose with hip opening, side stretching, forward bends, and some balancing. As you begin in child’s pose, bring awareness to your body and breath and set an intention for your practice. You’ll move through sun salutations, standing and balance poses, and a vinyasa flow, focusing on the movement of the breath and a connection with the heart, as you build up to trivikramasana. End the session with a relaxation in shavasana and a seated sitkaripranayama practice.
