In this progressive balance sequence, you get to choose the intensity of your practice. Throughout class, different pose variations are demoed by two students, so you can decide which one you want to do.
You’ll begin with a centering practice in mountain pose and a warm-up before moving into a practice where you’ll do balance poses like tree, figure four, and warrior lll/standing split variations in between sun salutes. (In the sun salutes you can choose between low and high lunge, spinal balance and three-legged dog, and more).
After that, you’ll do a final challenge—a standing hand-to-knee pose (with an option to use a block for support if you like). Then you’ll wind down with child’s pose variations, reclined twists, and conclude in savasana.
