Rasa Yoga: Building Down Dog

Down dog is one of the most common poses, so why not take the time to build a strong, sustainable version of this asana? In this alignment-informed class, you’ll grow your strength and skill in this inverted shape with the help of props. The sequence kicks off with non-weight-bearing drills, and then hands come to the floor for a strengthening progression toward an integrated experience in down dog.

Beginners will surely gain a lot of details they can bring into their practice, but even seasoned yogis can benefit from this sequence. Enjoy the process!

Props: Blocks, blanket, chair
