Join Rod for this focused, vitalizing hatha practice where you’ll move slowly and steadily through strengthening postures “leading with your heart” and paying close attention to your breath.
Throughout class, you’ll work with your breath in various ways (slowing it down, lengthening it, visualizing it moving through your body) to tap into subtle energetics. The asana practices you’ll do include a warrior I flow, dynamic chair poses, modified sun salutes (without downward dog, chaturanga, or cobra), side plank, side angle, active backbends, and more.
You’ll wind down with a guided relaxation and close in meditation. Enjoy exploring the connections between your mind, body, and breath.
