This is a kriya (cleansing practice) for the auric body, which is the seventh of the ten light bodies of kundalini yoga.
Class begins with a brief warm-up that includes a kundalini-style sun salutation. After that you'll do the kriya, which involves sufi grinds, active and energizing breath of fire practices that incorporate different asanas and movements, long holds in a standing forward fold and goddess pose, standing half lotus, sitali pranayama in sphinx/cobra, and more.
You’ll conclude with “breath of fire bicycles” and an optional savasana.
Be sure to tune in with the Adi Mantra before you begin: Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo.
