This is a kriya (cleansing practice) for the positive mind, which is the third of the ten light bodies of kundalini yoga. The positive mind sees the beauty in everything and is related to achievement and making one's mark on the world. When it's weak, the negative mind becomes stronger.
Class begins with a brief warm-up for the spine and lower body. After that, you'll explore the kriya, which includes whole-body breath of fire practices (one of which you'll do from a standing backbend), a flow called "rising crows," a "miracle bend" practice, deep core work, and more.
You'll conclude in a seated pose, hands to heart.
Be sure to tune in with the Adi Mantra before you begin: Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo.
