This is a kriya (cleansing practice) for the subtle body, which is the ninth of the ten light bodies of kundalini yoga.
Class begins with a long warm-up that focuses primarily on the neck and shoulders, followed by kundalini-style sun salutations. After that you'll begin the kriya, which includes Sufi grinds, active and energizing breath of fire practices (which incorporate different core-strengthening asanas), tolasana (scale pose), and more. And after the active work is through, you’ll conclude in savasana.
Be sure to tune in with the Adi Mantra before you begin: Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo.
