This fun, strengthening class features sliding movements that all levels of experience can enjoy (from beginners to advanced yogis).
You’ll start with your hands on a blanket and your knees on your mat, warming up your shoulders, arms, and core through table pose variations. After that, you’ll practice hip-opening and leg-strengthening slides (including a pigeon variation and fun lunge to wild thing slides) before coming to standing for a balance-boosting practice.
If you don’t have a blanket, you can use a towel—also be sure to have a slippery surface available before you begin, such as a hardwood or concrete floor.
