In this energizing alignment-based practice, you’ll learns lots of tips for strengthening your legs and your spine in foundational poses. You’ll begin with a centering practice (Savitri’s Heartfull Meditation) before moving through a basic sequence of surya namaskar, standing poses, and supta padangusthasana (reclined hand to big toe pose).
At the end of class, Aadil guides you through a savasana to help you integrate what you’ve done.
If you have a yoga wedge at home, grab it for this practice. You can also use a folded blanket or a thin block.
