The 5 Prana Vayus: Samana in Practice

Revitalize samana vayu with this physical practice focused on the abdomen! Samana vayu is the subdivision of prana (life-force energy) that is responsible for digestion, assimilation, and absorption of both food and life experiences. It is seated at the navel center and allows all the other vayus to be nourished. Move through twists and contractions, using the breath to help you release stagnation in the tissues around the abdomen and give space to samana vayu.
