Un-Sit Your Body

Counteract the effects of sitting with this class (theory - practice) based on the alignment of the lower body. You´ll get some tips for optimal sitting posture and simple movements you can do in a chair to stimulate circulation. After that, you’ll do a series of stretches for your feet and calves, activating lunge sequences for your hip flexors, a standing balance series for hip stability, a cat/cow sequence that targets the shoulders, and more. Rest at the end in a supported chest-opener/savasana. Grab an extra blanket and a have a rolled-up yoga mat ready for this class.
